Context:

This is a beautiful lullaby which has been sung for centuries.

There are a wide range of notes in this song, so I don’t think it is suitable to teach to younger children, as it could strain their developing voices. ┬áIt is perfect to sing to get a baby or small child to sleep, as there are beautiful contours in the melody.

This is quiet and gentle to soothe a tired baby.
